Pupil Subject Ambassadors
Each academic year at Christ Church every pupil in every class are selected to be an ambassador for their chosen subject. They act as a role model for the other pupils and help the teachers and the subject leader to promote enthusiasm, participation and progress.
Christ Church Primary School subject ambassadors are pupils chosen to champion a specific subject, acting as a learning detective, providing pupil feedback to subject leaders, and promoting interest in that subject through displays and events.

Responsibilities of subject ambassadors
1. Promoting the subject
-
- to encourage other pupils to enjoy and value the subject
- be a positive role model by showing enthusiasm and good learning habits
2. Supporting school events
-
- help adults in school to plan and run special events, like science week, art exhibitions, book fairs or curriculum linked events
- take part in leading assemblies, clubs or displays to raise the profile of their subject
3. Pupil voice
-
- gather ideas and feeback from class mates about what they enjoy and what could improve in the subject
- share these views with teachers and the subject leader in their curriculum team meetings
4. Communication and leadership
-
- welcome visitors to the school and explain what the learning in their subject looks like
- speak confidently to adults in school about what pupils do in that subject
- work well as part of a team of ambassadors across the school
5. Personal development

- show reliability, responsibility and a willingness to help
- set a good example in behaviour, effort and attitude to learning
