Our PE days are Tuesday and Wednesday, we ask children to keep their PE kits in school.
PE kits should align with school policy and children have been asked to bring an appropraite indoor and outdoor kit.
For children's safety, long hair should be tied up and earrings taken out.
Children are provided with reading books and a reading record, which should be read regularly and brought into school every day.
We encourage parents to sign reading records when a child has read at home. We change reading books on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Children are encouraged to colour in a square on their reading reward scheme to access their rewards.
Some examples include: house points, listening to their faviourite song in class and a free piece of toast!
Every Friday, homework and new spellings are set.
Homework is also accessible on Seesaw.
Spellings will be tested the following Friday. The weekly spelling rule and common exception words are accesible on Spelling Shed.
Please encourage your child to practice these in their spelling practise books and on Spelling Shed as often as possible.

To practice timetables, we also use TT Rockstars.
Weekly certificates will be given to the most improved speller and TTRS star of the week!
